Views over a Norwegian fjord from CABIN STRAUMSNES - the vandallist (8)

The STRAUMSNES CABIN is a holiday house having a view of the Norwegian Sea.

Most of the original 1950’s structure was removed to make room for the modern structure. A swimming pool from the same period was kept and renovated, together with a recent annex that the studio integrated into its proposal. The result is both a traditional shelter with a gabled roof and at the same time a modern complex of added units influenced by flat roofed modules.

The interior preserves a clean aesthetic with plywood-lined roofs, a concrete fireplace, and minimal furnishing to let you abandon yourself to the endless views of the surrounding fjord.
