Samsung Electronics America, Inc. announced the opening of Samsung 837, a cultural destination, digital playground, and Marketing Center of Excellence, in the heart of the Meatpacking District of NYC.

Soul Summit Music
The Soul Summit Music Festival takes place in Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn on Sunday afternoons, 3pm-8pm during the summer. Always free and open to the public, the festival presents various artists, including DJs, bands, dance companies, fashion designers, filmmakers, and photographers. The festival provides the backdrop for access to music, networking and other activities.

BRIC presents works by artists and media-makers who reflect the diversity that surrounds us. BRIC programs reach hundreds of thousands of people each year. This event is dedicated to providing substantial support to artists and media makers in their efforts to develop work and reach new audiences.

ABC Good Morning America Summer Concert Series
Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield also hosts GMA’s ongoing concert series, where every Friday through September from 7am to 9am, a special musical guest will take the stage. All of the performances will take place live during the filming of Good Morning America.

NBC Today Show Concert Series at Rockefeller
NBC’s answer to ABC’s summer concert series takes place at Rockefeller Plaza and also features a number of today’s most popular top 40 acts. Performances take place every Friday through September during the filming of the Today Show.

BAM R&B Festival

Coney Island Reggae On The Boardwalk

June 12 marks the opening party for the season, things start at 2pm and end at 10pm.
Movies With A View
Is there another cool place to see a movie than in the Brooklyn Bridge Park? Gather each Thursday for their free screenings. Aside from a movie, the Harbor View Lawn offers the scenic background of the East River and light-filled Lower Manhattan. This year’s theme is “This American Life”.
