Soul-o is back in the game with his new song and video for D.R.U.G.S. (Don’t Ruin Us God Said), another peek at what his upcoming album Do What Thou Wilt will sound like. The record is scheduled to be released on the 9th of December via TDE and so far it has been supported by two previously released songs Huey Knew, Braille featuring Bas and Threatening Nature.
The black and white artistic visual piece completes Ab-Soul’s bars where he confesses his relationship with intoxicating substances, describing them as a big part of his life, whilst battling with his own conscience. The song ends with a snippet of him and his mother talking over the phone, hinting at just how personal the subjects touched on this album will be.
It looks like Ab-Soul’s fourth studio album will be personal, laced with pain and confessions. DWTW will be a treat for Soul-o’s fans and critics as well, making it a competitor for Album Of The Year. While you patiently wait for it to drop, check out the track list and previously released tracks below.
