Now that’s a good reason why all tourists visiting Dresden should pray for a little rain – this beautifully designed building will enchant all passers-by with music played only when the skies are grey. The house is located in Neustadt Kunsthofpassage, an area of Dresden part of an arts project called the Courtyard of Elements.
An complex system of drains and funnels is attached on the outside of the colourful house in Germany and when it rains the entire building becomes an instrument.
The singing house was created by sculptor Annette Paul and designers Christoph Rossner and André Tempel, who all live in the musical home.
Now ssshhhhh and listen to some rainy music!
