BWArchitects is a global architecture and design firm, with offices in New York City and Beijing, China. They are dealing with a vast variety of projects, from architecture and interior design to product design and preservation.
A while ago, more precisely in 2012 they finished a beautiful townhouse in Greenwich Village and we are pretty sure that you will enjoy flipping through the pictures. The building dates back to the 1840s and spreads on 4,000 square feet.
The designers managed to keep the elegance of the place while fusing the past and present. The house was carefully remodeled: the wooden beams were kept in their original form while the kitchen and the dining room open through steel and glass doors to a beautiful stylish garden.
The surprise comes when you go upstairs and you discover the home office from the top floor. Here one can find a more industrial look thanks to the huge steel gear that can be operated manually helping pivoting the glass wall.
