We already mentioned and for sure you noticed that we love modern Scandinavian architecture and design so you shouldn’t be surprised that we’re sharing another adorable cabin from Norway.
Located in Ål, Norway and designed by Taktil Architects, the lodge has all the elements that remind us of the winter escapades. This house was built for a family of five on a 124 m2 surface and it is another beautiful example of man-made structures blending in with nature.
The wood clad covering the house doesn’t stand out unpleasantly and courageously faces the ruthless mountain climate. An interesting detail is the corner window that offers a panoramic view and almost fades out while you lose yourself in the landscape.
Contrasting with the outer roughness, inside you can relax all day long. The family has five bedrooms, a library, and an open space for socializing, a kitchen with a connected dining room, bathroom and the pièce de résistance: a sauna.
We fell in love with this house, its simplicity and functionality. What about you?
