ALEXANDRA HENRY is a multilingual creative producer and director with over 12 years of international experience. Her passion for art, music, and languages is showcased through her photography, music videos and documentary project featuring female street artists from all over the world.
Based in New York City, she was born in Alexandria, Virginia and raised in New Mexico. Traveling the world, including London, Istanbul, Los Angeles, Barcelona, Paris, Buenos Aires, her creative work explores architecture, graffiti, and densely populated areas.
“For the past three and a half years I’ve been documenting female graffiti and street artists to capture their collective voice and experiences within the global street art movement- a place where women have received little recognition for their contributions,” says Alexandra. The artists featured in STREET HEROINES are changing our relationship to the urban environment and the way we interact within the public space.
