BORDALLO II

Pelican by BORDALLO II in Aruba

Bordallo II is a Portuguese street artist born in ’87 in Lisbon. He belong to the consumerist, materialist and greedy generation, believing that while we keep on producing things we also keep on wasting things and producing trash.

Since “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure,” Bordallo II creates, recreates, assembles and develps ideas with trash materials, trying to relate it to ecological and social awareness.

His last work is to be found in Aruba. Taking the form of a giant Pelican chilling on an abandoned vessel, the talented Portuguese street artist created this 3D installation using trash and found materials collected around the streets of Aruba.

You can find out more on Bordallo II by following his Instagram Account or his Facebook page.
