If you didn’t know about the existence of street artist Swoon, maybe this is the time to learn more. We are used to appreciate street artist and to picture them as being male personalities expressing their art in a nonconformist manner. Looking at Swoon’s art you will be surprised to find out that behind those prints “hides” a lady, Caledonia Dance Curry.
She focuses on life-size wheat paste prints and paper cutouts of human figures. She recently left her signature on the walls of Djerba, in Tunisia. The American artist usually portrays images inspired by the social context and scenes of everyday life. This recent project in Tunisa was organized by Paris’ Gallerie Itinerrance.
Enjoy her work below and if you think of buying some of her prints you have the possibility to do so here.
