ASTRO paints his first murals in the suburbs of Paris in 2000. This self-taught and passionate artist brings his technique and savoir-faire into an abstract art that mixes curves, calligraphy and dynamic formes.
Taking his inspiration from artists like Hartung, Vasarely or Mucha, ASTRO knew how to create his own universe especially by exploring shadows and light, the power of colors and the perspective of depth.
Already known for his wild calligraphy-inspired patterns, the artist has begun to incorporate 3D illusions with the help of shadows to create tunnels and voids at the center of his works.
