BrewDog is a beautiful story about two craft beer aficionados that started a business from their passion. However, this is something for you to discover on their website if you like to. What we are going to talk about is one of their bars, located in Liverpool.
The design of this recently opened BrewDog location was signed by Michaelis Boyd Associates. Dwelling with new or old buildings, residential or commercial spaces, this architectural practice delivers elegant, effective solutions for a great variety of clients.
For the BrewDog, the industrial touch and the unique details are the key of an original design. The generous space is divided into five separate areas suited for different events and needs. Since this is supposed to be a sanctuary for high quality beer, they had to add kegs, used here as a dividing wall for the restroom, a special place for tasting and even a cellar.
From a chromatic standpoint the palette of colors is well structured and harmoniously put together. The ceiling conveys a cold feeling with the grey tones while the floor and part of the walls warm up the place with earthy shades. All these meet in the middle where yellow, blue and red furniture wrap up the space.
For us this is an intriguing place where we would soon like to have a craft beer and one of their acclaimed burgers.
