LA MENAGERE was an iconic, Florentine houseware shop, recently resurrected into a concept-restaurant. A container that collects creative minds. It’s a place where design brings together gourmet cuisine, flowers and houseware to create an informal atmosphere.
Designed by q-bic architectural, Luca and Marco Baldini completed the bold project in less than 90 days.
The uncovered pillars, the unceramiced walls, the one long, though sectioned, tree trunk table running almost the entire length of the restaurant, rusty tables, the cookpot sinks in the toilets: all deliberately put in a high-ceilinged and vast open space with a variety of moods.
At the heart of the ‘concept restaurant’ is Ilaria the florist. Then the Bar area, with its counter lit up by the oriental shapes where you are offered to experiment with the different preparation techniques for infusions, smoothies, smoking processes and much more still.
If you get to Florence, stop by La Menagere. Till then, take a look at this concept restaurant photos.
