Ellie Davies, UK-based, who is a multimedia artist, created stunning and eerie works of art from sceneries set in Uk in a course of 7 years. By presenting exquisite or less faint details to these landscapes his art conveys beautiful meditations upon the relation build between organic and human, integrates the the agent into the world he lives and grows in.
“The forest represents the confluence of nature, culture, and human activity,” Davies writes on her website. “Forests are potent symbols in folklore, fairy tale and myth, places of enchantment and magic as well as of danger and mystery. In more recent history they have come to be associated with psychological states relating to the unconscious. Against this backdrop my work explores the ways in which identity is formed by the landscapes we live and grow up in.”
