Gemma Pariente was born in Barcelona, Spain. Her father dedicated much of his time to put a pencil in her hand at an early age which from then on she built a strong interest in art. It was for these reasons that she was drawn to the art of tattoo. She was traveling experiencing life during her early stages in tattooing. In 2007, after traveling and studying abroad the horizons of the tattoo world, Gemma decided to settle in Barcelona to focus her energy in the art of tattooing. Amongst the various shops where she has worked for short periods of time, it was two shops in particular that helped her the most, Rock ´n Tattoo and then Steelworks, it is where she was devoted and dedicated herself to becoming a more passionate tattoo artist. The experiences she had working in these shops helped her focus more seriously and work more professionally in the world of tattoo. After working for three years in Steelworks, she decided to move to San Diego where she found Bill Canales and had the fortune to continue growing and sharing her sincerest passion, the art of tattooing.
