Sound of the Street Inked with Style


George Drone from Greece, guest artist at Mahakala Tattoo of only 21 years old has experimented with arts of all kind from painting, graffiti to tattoo art. Taking 3 years lessons in the fine arts from Mr.Sarasitis, Mpelntekos, Kostas Pappas, Kostas Esslin, Marita Niakarou and finally Tasos Kaliakatsos. On 2010 he became a student at Aristotle Univercity-Fine Arts School of Thessaloniki, where he stayed only for the first 6 months, where he tattooed for the very first time. He left school because of the economical and school system problems, returning to Athens. On December of 2012 he starts his apprenticeship with Proki for 6 months. February 2014: Proki hosts him at Proki tattoo studio and he’s working with his own customers there. March 2014: 3 months Guest spot at Iron & Ink Tattoo studio, Vejle-Copenhagen-Denmark. His working style is defined by eclectic lines and colours, shades of cubism and geometrical influences builts his signature. His art reunites reversed elements such as splashes of colours, watercolour pattern and unshift loops making it in a hard–to-believe is a tattoo as you can see in the images of his ink on others skin.
