The Italian artist JORIT AGOCH started painting at the age of 13 with a spraycan in his native city Quarto, north of Naples.
The Italian newspaper, La Republica, says that “The artistic activity of Jorit is unique because he carries out graffiti and paintings on canvas at a very high technical level […] He considers the human face the most characterising part of humanity, almost like a totem to venerate. That is why he has concentrated on painting human faces with all their peculiarities.”
JORIT creates stunning hyperreal portraits on canvas or walls. His work has the same texture as a photograph – the only difference is the aerosol paint he uses. The Italian artist’s style is a very clean and realistic one.
He’s done many international exhibitions including London, Berlin, Sidney, Dar Es Salam, Tilburg and museums.
