During August, San Francisco wallows in a mural exhibition of the duo, artists Kamea Hadar and Defer, entitled “Paradise Lost.” Their collaborative canvas pieces are on display at 1st Amendment Gallery through this August 29. The artists created during their stay in the city, the artwork called “Hawaii 13” which is located in downtown San Francisco near the corner of Kearny and Bush Streets. A mix of red, yellow and gold shades blend in with the black minimal background born from the interwining ancient Hawaiian mythology with West Coast sensibilities.
For more murals, gallery shows and artistic projects from the “Paradise Lost” series visit Los Angeles, Miami, Guam, Israel, and Hawaii.
