London Streets Painted With Bee Murals To Raise Awareness About Colony Collapse Disorder (5)

Meet Louis Masai , the artist who spreads art as a form of connecting the society with environment . Wondering about the fact why people would care about matters that don’t affect them on a daily basis, the artist decided upon related illegal murals which were done in one day on Brick Lane.

He teamed up with Jim Vision for project “Save the Bees” in order to spread the message in an alternative, entertaining way. Besides the street art pieces, the guys regard gathering people of whose occupation depend on bees. Figures such as Hiver beer, Dead Gents clothing and Inkkas have involved for enlightening the individual’s frame of mind.

Also, they made up a platform where they could bestow wildflowers seed for people to make a small difference in the environment but significant.

Batteries Not Included is a free exhibition from Louis Masai and runs from 30th April to 29th May at Lollipop Gallery in Shoreditch, London.
