Sean Yoro

Artist Sean Yoro creates seaside murals which come around with the tide - THE VANDALLIST (7)

If you spot street artwork in hide-to-reach places as crossings and the side of a sinking ship, done from a paddle board be sure it’s signed artist by Sean Yoro, previously known as Hula.

His hyperrealistic portraits, images of woman that emerge above the water when the stream is on time are highly influenced by the seaside scenery.

His new ship-based piece Ho’i Mai, that illustrates a woman with an arm spreading up, has its influence from the tide. The translation of the mural’s title is “Come back” which implies her longing touch and the tide that veils and unveils her face and arm.
