High rent, a multitude of belongings meant to fill the gap and makes us happy, college debt and careers offering the same kind of lifestyle are some of the reason which caused the need of a change in Jenna Spesard and her partner Guillaume life. Distancing themselves from the hobbies they wanted to pursue such as writing and photography they felt the urge to reinstate their passions in their existence and later they met the tiny houses which inspired them to a life of seeking beauty and creation of art.
Their plan :” 1) Build a tiny home, 2) Travel around North America for one year, and 3) Create a travel journalism portfolio about alternative lifestyles. He’d photograph. I’d write.”
Having no experience whatsoever and pushing against failures that convey a lesson they began to build a tiny home from scratch. And the result appear in the shape of a small house on wheels.
Six months and 10,000 miles later, their small accommodation brought them on a inspiring adventure where they met people who chose the same lifestyle of living in tiny building such as homes, tree houses, yurts, homemade house boats, etc.
Guillaume illustrates this alternative bohemian lifestyle through his lens while Jenna writes about it. Ideal combo.
